The piece

A deep blue solitaire rests beneath an open silver circle, giving Twilight its distinctive contrast of cool colour and polished metal. The exposed stone draws the eye through the centre of the design, while the circular frame gives the stud a clean, almost graphic finish. It is restrained in form, but the blue brings a more mysterious note to an otherwise minimal silhouette.
